About Applied Electronics

Electronics is a basic discipline providing materials, devices and systems for a number of fields including computers and information, communication and transportation, manufacturing and construction, medical and biological engineering, as well as health and welfare engineering, and will continue to increase its importance as the source of advanced technologies in the 21st century.

The Department of Applied Electronics offers an interdisciplinary curriculum combining electronics and electrical engineering with materials and devices engineering, systems and information engineering, mechanical engineering as well as instrumentation and control engineering, and aims at educating the students to become creative and flexible engineers capable of playing a leading role in a wide range of engineering fields.
